Books to Support Happiness and Well-Being

Books to Support Happiness and Well-Being

Positive psychology teaches us that happiness is not only something we feel. It is also something we can practice.

Through my books, I share simple tools, practical exercises, and research-based strategies to help readers build healthier habits, manage adversity, increase happiness, and create a more meaningful life.

The Positive Psychology Diet: 21 Days to a Happier and Healthier Life

The Positive Psychology Diet is a 21-day guide designed to help you nourish your mind, body, and spirit.

This book is not just about food. It is about feeding your mind with positivity, self-awareness, and practical strategies that support a happier and healthier life.

Inside, you will learn tools to help you manage stress, change habits, set goals, and focus on the thoughts and actions that support your well-being.

Many people think of a diet as something restrictive, but this book looks at diet in a different way. It is about what you feed your mind, what you practice daily, and how small intentional changes can lead to a more positive life.

Happiness Is My Choice: A Practical Guide to Happiness

Happiness Is My Choice is a practical guide for anyone who wants to increase happiness and well-being.

Adversity is part of life. We cannot always control what happens to us, but we can learn tools that help us prepare for difficult times and fully enjoy the good times.

This book shares positive psychology tools and daily practices that can help you focus on gratitude, optimism, mindfulness, relationships, goals, and self-care.

Happiness is not about pretending life is perfect. It is about learning how to choose thoughts, habits, and actions that support your emotional well-being.

Do you want to be happier?

You choose.

Begin Your Happiness Journey

Both books were written to help readers feel more empowered, hopeful, and intentional about their lives.

You do not have to change everything at once. Start with one small practice. One new habit. One positive thought. One step forward.

Happiness and well-being are built through the choices we make every day.

Simple Daily Habits to Feel Happier and Healthier

Simple Daily Habits to Feel Happier and Healthier

Small daily choices can make a big difference in how we feel. When life feels busy or stressful, it helps to come back to the basics: what we wear, what we watch, what we think about, how we speak, how we move, and how we care for our bodies.

Here are a few simple habits that can help you feel happier, healthier, and more positive.

Wear Something That Makes You Feel Good

Make sure you wear an outfit that makes you feel great. How we present ourselves can influence how we feel about ourselves. Choose something that helps you feel confident, comfortable, and ready for the day.

Add Something Funny or Inspirational

Listen to or watch something funny or inspirational every day. Laughter and inspiration can help shift your mood and bring more positive energy into your life.

Focus on the Positive

Focus your energy on the positives in your life and be grateful for them. Even during difficult times, there is usually something good to notice, appreciate, or hold onto.

Take a Break From Your Problems

Put your problems to the side for a few hours a day. This does not mean ignoring them. It means giving your mind a break. When you revisit them later, they may not feel quite as heavy.

Avoid Gossip and Negative Conversations

Do not participate in gossip or negative conversations. Words are powerful, so remember to use them wisely. What we say and listen to can affect our mindset and energy.

Stay Hydrated

Drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated helps support your energy, digestion, and overall well-being.

Prioritize Sleep and Quiet Time

Try to get seven to eight hours of sleep each night. If possible, include a twenty-minute period of meditation, prayer, or quiet reflection. Rest is an important part of emotional and physical wellness.

Move Your Body

Include exercise in your daily schedule. Movement helps release endorphins, which can elevate your mood and help you feel better.

Eat and Drink in Moderation

Try to eat and drink in moderation. Deprivation can sometimes lead to overeating, so it is important to make mindful choices. Enjoy your food, but choose what supports how you want to feel.

Do Not Weigh Yourself Every Day

Try not to get on the scale every day. Your weight can fluctuate for many reasons, and the number on the scale does not define your worth or your progress.

End With Gratitude

Remember to focus on the things you are grateful for each day. Gratitude helps shift your attention from what is missing to what is meaningful.

Small habits may seem simple, but when practiced consistently, they can help you create a healthier mindset and a happier life.
